Holy crap i actually participated in a spaceship design competition, i guess if i liked cars there were be design competitions for those every day. OH and i got second place with my team !! unfortunately we had no technical artist to have knowledge with cryengine which was the main reason we didn't get first . *Shrug* still, holy shit this was fun, what an amazing experience this was! More please.
Oh did i mention i was obsessed with gunships years ago when i started 3D ? O_O what are the odds ?

A less stylized illustration, trying to aim for a more realistic feel. There aren't many changes from the initial concept for this version, just a few small changes such as the color scheme and various weapon placements (called by the game rules)
Also we didnt have enough time to make a final illustration of the Hammerhead version but you can see some illustration from an angled view here:
